Hi, I'm Lisa Murata, a pet medium. I connect people with their pets who have passed by acting like a translator. I interpret the images, thoughts and feelings I receive from your pet and turn them into words so you can have one more conversation with them, find out how they are doing, and get answers to your questions.

In addition to answers to your questions, a conversation with your pet so often brings a gift of peace. I usually receive messages that they are happy and doing well, and most importantly that they are still with you and the relationship you shared continues. These are the common themes, but each call is unique to you and your pet, with specific information so you’ll recognize that it is your pet answering.

The messages that come through me are filled with love, understanding and forgiveness.

2) When your appointment is booked and payment sent, email to lisa@underthefeather.com:
- 2-3 photos of your pet
- Your pet’s name
- Your first question or the thing you most want to discuss, you can change it when we start the call.

You can ask your pet whatever is on your mind. It’s like a conversation with a friend, where one question can flow into a whole conversation with a natural back and forth as new information brings more questions from you, or bring a list (see below).

In the first few minutes of the call I’ll start receiving things that are specific to your pet, their personality, their favourite thing to do, or other things that you’ll recognize. If the things I’m describing don’t sound like your pet, we’ll stop the call and I’ll return your payment.

Do they know what I’m doing?
Are they in pain?
Are they sending me signs?
Do they blame me for their passing?
Are they mad at me?
Will they be upset if I get another pet?
Do they know how much I love them?

You can bring a list of questions or we can let the conversation naturally unfold from your first question and find out what your pet most wants you to know.

When it is all about you and your life path

I’ve had several readings where clients come wanting to connect with their pet who had passed, but the conversation became about something important in their own life. In one of these readings, the message was about a book the client was meant to write about grief and pet loss. Her cat very proudly told us that he was just there to bring her to me for this information. He did get his time at the end and answered the questions she had for him.

I recommend planning to connect with one pet. Connecting with two pets, including confirming they’re the right ones, becomes rushed and doesn’t leave much time for hearing what each has to say.

Sometimes, though, the pet we’re connecting with will bring through another pet or person that you are close with, and they may become the main focus of the reading.

When your pet brings a gift

In one reading, a client came to connect with her cat who’d recently crossed over. The cat came through clearly and then brought the client’s father through. Her father had transitioned not long before the cat and his immense love flooded the call. It could have been a crowded conversation, but the cat was content to bring the client’s father through as a gift to her. The client scheduled another call so the cat could have her turn.

If you had to let your pet go with the assistance of a vet and now carry the guilt of that decision, please know that all the messages I’ve received from them are of love, understanding and forgiveness for their person. They really understand how hard it was to make that decision and appreciate that you put their needs ahead of yours.

If this is a concern of yours, in your session you’ll hear directly from your pet their specific feelings about this, sometimes with humour and always with love for you.
